If you would like to access Kanopy on your smart device or TV here is some information to help you get started.

• First, does your device support this?  Here are the system requirements:
  • Mobile devices
    • iPhones/iPads with iOS 14.0+ (get it from the Apple App Store)
    • Android devices with Android 7.1+ (get it on Google Play)
    • Amazon Fire tablets with FireOS 6+ (get it from the Amazon Appstore)
  • TV
    • Android TV and Google TV with Android 7.1+
    • Apple TV with tvOS 13.0+
    • Fire TV with FireOS 6+
    • Roku with RokuOS 12.5+
    • Samsung TV with Tizen 6.5+

• Next, it is time to download the app for your device from the appropriate app store.
• After you have downloaded the app, it is time to connect your OU access to the app on your device.
  • Choose "Get Started"
    • Then "Find a university" and search Ohio University.
      • Login with your ohio.edu credentials.
        • After logging in you will have to create a free account on the Kanopy platform.
          • You may have to verify this email address.
        • After this you are all done and able to access Kanopy films, including the Criterion Collection.
