How do I login to the library catalog? How do I access my library account?
It's important to sign into the library search website so that you have access to all Ohio University materials for your account type. Signing in to the library search website also signs you in to My Library Account where you can see your loans and renew items.
- Sign in to the Ohio University option if you are:
- Active Ohio University faculty, staff, student -or-
- An Ohio University faculty/staff retiree with ongoing access to your ohio.edu email account.
- You'll use the OHIO login that accesses your university email but you'll need to sign-in anew on the library search website.
- Sign in to the Non-University (Community and Friends) Login option if you are:
- A community or Friends of the Library patron -or-
- An Ohio University faculty/staff retiree who no longer uses an ohio.edu email account.
How to Sign In Using the Ohio University Option

You can use either the "Sign In" link in the yellow notification bar (the link turns green when you hover over it):

Or use the Sign in link that is in the top right corner of the menu bar for the search website.

On the next screen, select the Ohio University login method and complete the login steps.

Once you've logged in, the search website will refresh and your name will appear in the top right corner of the menu bar.

Click the arrow next to your name to access your library account information.
How to Sign In Using the Community Patron Option

On the next screen the select 'Non-University (Community and Friends) Login" login method

A screen will come up prompting you for your User ID and Password.

Once you've logged in, the search website will refresh and your name will appear in the top right corner of the menu bar. Click the arrow next to your name to access your library account information.
