How do I request materials to be sent to other OhioLINK participating libraries?

A request placed through OhioLINK can be sent to any participating OhioLINK library for pickup.

For example, if you have a membership with the State Library of Ohio and want to pick up an OhioLINK request at one of Ohio University's campus libraries, all you must do is set your pickup location appropriately before submitting your request.

Once you click the request button, you will first identify which OhioLINK participating library you have a membership with. Pictured below is an example of placing an OhioLINK request as a State Library of Ohio member.

Next, you will receive a prompt to login with your credentials.

Below where you enter your login credentials, you will see Pickup Institution and Pickup Location options. By default, OhioLINK assumes you want to pick your request up from the institution you logged in with.

Instead, simply choose Ohio U as your pickup institution, and then select which of our campus libraries you would like to pick it up from as pictured below.

Similarly, if you are affiliated with the Ohio University Libraries you can have a request sent to a different university's library for pickup. In this case you just log in with your Ohio University credentials and pick any other available institution and location before submitting your request.
