When accessing Kanopy Video through links provided on the Blackboard or the OU Libraries website, users may be directed to a Kanopy login page rather than the expected video.  This is especially common for first-time Kanopy users.

If encountering the page shown below, click the orange "LOG IN TO OHIO" button on the lower left.  Do not choose the black and white "LOG IN" button in the top right corner.

The orange button will direct to the screen shown below.  Once again, select the orange button saying "LOG IN TO OHIO."  This allows Kanopy to recognize your OU login and complete authentication, granting access to Kanopy.

Once complete, this process creates a tracking cookie that eliminates these extra steps in the future, unless the user is in private/incognito mode or later clears their browser cookies.
