How do you get full text from the Cinahl nursing database?

Plan A:

Make sure you are connected to a Libraries' database from our website by logging in with your OHIO account. See list of databases here. In most of our databases, you will either see an option for the PDF directly, Access Options, or Find Full Text. If you are not sure, hover over the Get Full Text to see that is says Ohio University. That's your ticket! Below is an example of search results from CINAHL, below each result, you can see Access Options as a drop down tab.

Plan B:

Download Libkey Nomad as a browser extension to get quicker access to full-text Ohio University Libraries' pay to have access to, no matter where you are! FAQ linked on how to download.

Plan C:

Easier access to the full text of journal articles via Google Scholar by connecting Ohio University Libraries to your library settings link. Directions in video below.

Plan D:

Double check the Library Catalog for the journal title (Journal search in our catalog linked). You can then see if we have an electronic access option and then find your article by year.

Plan E:

If all else fails, you can order the article via interlibrary loan (FOR FREE!) or check with your librarian. If you have never used Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) you will find directions and tutorials here.
