Q. How do I send a book to any OhioLINK library for pickup?

If you are a distance student, you can have books sent to your nearest library for pickup.

If you are a student enrolled in an Ohio University online program and would like a book sent to a library near you for pickup, please follow the steps below. 

Distance Learners living in Ohio: 

  • Determine if the book you want is available at an OhioLINK library by searching the OhioLINK catalog
  • If the book is available in OhioLINK, you can place a request to have it sent to an OhioLINK library near you. The video below shows how to send a book to any OhioLINK library for pickup.
  • If the book is not available in OhioLINK, please contact our Interlibrary Loan Department directly at ill@ohio.edu

Distance Learners living outside Ohio:

  • If you are interested in having a book sent to you, please contact our Interlibrary Loan Department directly at ill@ohio.edu

eBooks

In addition to print books, OU students, faculty, and staff also have access to a number of eBooks. This page shows how to find eBooks through the online library catalog (ALICE).

 

When you request a book through OhioLINK, you can have the book sent to any library in the OhioLINK system. The video below shows you how.
