How do I borrow books, movies (DVDs), and other library materials?
Students, faculty, and staff can borrow materials with their Ohio University ID. We also have options for free community memberships, and a paid Friends of the Libraries membership that extends your benefits. Once you find what you need, visit your library's service desk and a staff member will help you check out.
In Alden Library you can check out books and other items at the following desks:
The Music and Dance Library also checks items out from their Circulation desk in Glidden Hall.
You can check out movies at the 4th floor help desk of Alden. All you need is the title, and library staff will retrieve it for you. The best way to find what all is available is to use ALICE Library Catalog video search.
