How do I find articles in Articles and More?
By using the Articles and more feature on our Search page, you can find articles from Journals, Newspapers, Reviews, Reports, and more. Most often for coursework, you will want recently published peer-reviewed material

Finding Articles
- Begin your search by typing in a keyword or short phrase into the search bar that is set to Articles and more.
- The next page will show you all the results from this initial unfiltered search
Narrowing Your Search
- To narrow your search, go to the lefthand side of the screen to see the most common filters.
- Two filters you will want to frequently apply are Availability and Creation Date. This will allow you to only search recently articles to which you have immediate access. You will at least want to filter by Available online and Peer-reviewed Journals and within the passed 5 years.
- Another filter to check out is subject. This will show you other keywords common to your topic(s)
- If you need it from specific journals, you can narrow down by journal title.
- A list of filters you applied will appear at the top. If you are not satisfied with a filter or it narrowed your topic down to too few articles, you can cancel the filter.
- In this search, we narrowed down 5,000+ articles to around 70, making our results easier to browse.
Databases
- In the dropdown menu, choose Databases
- If you know what database you would like to search, you can type in the title. If you do not know, you can browse by subject to find database you would like to use. You can always ask your professor or Subject Librarian for advice on what journals will be most helpful to your research.
- Once you find the database you want to use, click on the the title, and you'll be in the database to do searches
