How Do I Get Started Searching in JSTOR?

The JSTOR database stores the back issues of many journal titles. 

Starting from the library homepage:

  1. Use the drop down menu on the search bar to select "Databases"
  2. Type in "JSTOR" as your search term

  1. Click one of the records of JSTOR from the database look up.

  1. We recommend using the advanced search to refine your results and ensure your access type is set to "Content I can access." You can also filter to your field of study below the main search options.

  1. At any time, you can hit "Modify Search" to change your advanced options and narrow your search further.

  1. Once you find an article that suits your needs, you can copy citations, save to your JSTOR account, or download as a PDF.
